Murrieta Police Announce New Dates For K-9 Trials

During the event, a free public date has been scheduled. It's a chance for attendees to see police dogs and their partners in action.

MURRIETA, CA — The rescheduled date for the 2022 Murrieta K-9 trials was announced Monday.

The 5th annual Murrieta K-9 trials will be held at Murrieta Mesa High School, April 1-2, the Murrieta Police Department announced. On April 1, the event will be open to law enforcement participants only; the April 2 date is open to the public and the event is free. Gates will open at 11 a.m. The event is slated to run until about 4 p.m.

"Come out and watch some awesome K-9 teams participate and enjoy the public safety fair as well. There will be something for everyone," the Murrieta Police Department said Monday via social media.

The event, which has traditionally brought police and sheriff departments from across the region, as well as Mexico and out-of-state, was originally slated to take place Feb. 18-19 this year. In January, the Murrieta Police Department announced the event was being rescheduled.
