Murrieta Residents Arrested In Prostitution Sting

A double prostitution-narcotics sting in Southwest Riverside County netted 10 arrests, authorities said.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — Authorities arrested 10 men as part of a sting operation targeting men trying to solicit prostitutes in Temecula, the Riverside County Sheriff's office said Friday. The sting doubled as a narcotics operation, with several men booked on suspicion of narcotics possession.

Those arrested were soliciting an undercover female sheriff's deputy in exchange for money, authorities said. Other deputies targeted people with active warrants who were known to buy or sell narcotics, according to the sheriff's office.

These 10 people were arrested and booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center on suspicion of the listed charges:
