Murrieta, RivCo Gas Prices Continue To Rise
The national average price dropped for the 90th consecutive day since rising to a record high.
MURRIETA, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Murrieta and Riverside County rose Monday for the 10th consecutive day after dropping 10 of the previous 11 days to its lowest amount since March 4, increasing six-tenths of a cent to $5.262.
The lowest gas prices in Murrieta, gas prices dropped to $4.79 at Sam's Club and $4.83 at the Murrieta Costco. In nearby Temecula were at Costco at $4.83 per gallon for regular unleaded fuel.
The average price has increased 13.4 cents over the past 10 days, including 1.5 cents Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and the Oil Price Information Service.
It dropped 8.5 cents over the 11-day run of decreasing prices.
The average price is 9.1 cents more than one week ago and 95.1 cents higher than one year ago, but seven-tenths of a cent less than one month ago.
The national average price dropped for the 90th consecutive day since rising to a record, falling two-tenths of a cent to $3.716. It has dropped $1.23 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14.
The national average price is 7 cents less than one week ago and 26.2 cents less than one month ago, but 54.1 cents more than one year ago.
