Murrieta Students to Perform Ballet Folklorico

A district-wide high school Ballet Folklorico group will perform in Cinco de Mayo celebrations April 27-28 and May 4 at Murrieta Mesa High School.

Three upcoming performances by students in a district-wide Ballet Folklorico group will celebrate Cinco de Mayo.

Murrieta Valley Unified School District's Ballet Folklorico Corazon de mi Tierra—a dance group made up of students from each of the district's high schools—will perform Friday and Saturday this week, as well as Friday, May 4, at . All performances begin at 7 p.m. in the Gerswhin Performing Arts Center, 24801 Monroe Ave., Murrieta.

Tickets are available at the door. Admission is $8 for adults and children older than 12, $5 for children 6 to 12 and free for those 5 or younger.

Street tacos will be sold for $1 before, during and after the show to help raise money for the program.
