Murrieta Valley Elementary Schools CHOOSE KINDNESS!

All week long students attempt to complete a checklist of 50 kind acts! Monday begins with a Kick Off rally that includes partnering with feeder Middle Schools and community businesses like Pizza Factory and Chik fil A! Each day at lunch there is a Kindness Station on the playground with an activity to do focused on being kind! Each school is also spreading kindness beyond the walls of the school with a school-wide kind fundraiser or donation. Tovashal Elementary school is collecting spare change to adopt a rescue Tigershark (their mascot), because small change can make a BIG DIFFERENCE in our world! Lisa J Mails Elementary has partnered with the local Community Pantry and is collecting specific food items to help restock the pantry and support those families in the community who are currently being challenged. Friday, January 26th both schools will showcase in a culminating assembly all the kindness that flourished on each campus. There will be special guests like Thunder and the Dorothy McElhinney Middle School mascot, Colton! It is a special week for our elementary students that acts as a protective and proactive approach to eliminating bullying at school through the emphasis of seeking to share kindness! All are welcome to participate through coming to our culminating assembly...AND continue to spread KINDNESS LIKE CONFETTI!
