Murrieta Valley Girls Basketball loses in CIF Quarterfinals

The Nighthawks lose in the Division 2AA playoffs, 64-52, on the road against Buena.

Murrieta Valley ended its run in the CIF Division 2AA playoffs Wednesday night, as they lost at Ventura Buena, 64-52.

The Nighthawks, the Southwestern League champions, finish the season at 22-7.

"They (Buena) started out strong, we chipped away a little but never got in sync," Murrieta Valley coach Scott Richards said. "It just wasn't our night."
