MURRIETA, CA — Murrieta Valley Unified School District's newest candidate for Trustee Area 3 is hosting a meet-and-greet this Sunday at a local park to kick off his campaign and meet the community.

On Sunday, from 1 to 3 p.m., head to Rancho Acacias Park to meet Elliot Emmer. The event offers an opportunity for parents, neighbors, and community members to connect, ask questions, and share what matters most for local schools, according to a recent news release.

Emmer, a father and Senior Director of Development at UC Riverside’s School of Public Policy, says his decision to run is rooted in a simple goal: keeping the focus on students, according to his statement.

“I’m running for school board because I want my kids—and every child in Murrieta—to have access to strong academics, safe campuses, and real opportunities to succeed,” Emmer said. “This campaign is about listening to families and making sure our schools are working for everyone.”
