Murrieta's Annual Holiday Toy And Food Drive Set For Saturday
New, unwrapped, and nonperishable items will be accepted at the Dec. 17 drive-thru event.
MURRIETA, CA — The city of Murrieta is asking those who can to help spread holiday cheer to people in need.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, the city's community services department will be on hand to accept donations at the Community Center, 41810 Juniper Street, as part of Murrieta's annual Holiday Toy and Food Drive.
New, unwrapped, and nonperishable items will be accepted at the drive-thru event.
Anyone willing to donate is asked to place items in your vehicle’s trunk and enter the Community Center parking lot on Juniper Street across from Fire Station #1. Pop your trunk when you stop at the donation point and staff will collect the items. All donations will go to local food pantries and families in need within the Murrieta community, according to the city.
