ANZA, CA — Nearly 2 tons of marijuana were destroyed in Anza over the long holiday weekend following six search warrants served by law enforcement officials.
The cannabis raids by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Riverside County Code Enforcement, and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife took place Friday at undisclosed addresses in the unincorporated community.
Approximately 6,804 marijuana plants and 12 pounds of processed marijuana were eradicated, according to the sheriff's department. The cannabis was found indoors and outdoors, the agency said.
