Services such as applying for an original driver’s license and behind-the-wheel drive tests will need to be conducted at a full-service field office. A DMV field office is located in Temecula at 27851 Diaz Road.
The new Murrieta office will not offer appointments. Customers will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. The location will be cashless, only accepting credit and debit cards for payment.
The office will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. On Wednesdays, it will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Most DMV tasks do not require an office visit. Customers can use the agency's online services, which include eligible driver’s licenses and vehicle registration renewals.
