New Hotel Celebrated In Southwest Riverside County

The new Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott adds to the growing number of accommodations now available in the region.

MENIFEE, CA — An official ribbon-cutting was held Tuesday for the opening of Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott at 30140 Town Center Drive in Menifee. It's the city's first "limited-service" pet-friendly hotel, and it features four floors, 99 rooms, 5,593 square feet of meeting space, a pool, fitness center and a business center.

Dozens of dignitaries turned out for Tuesday's celebration, including 67th District State Assemblymember Kelly Seyarto (R-Murrieta) and Menifee Mayor Bill Zimmerman.

The $14 million project has been viewed as a boost for the local economy and an anchor for Menifee Town Center.

The hotel is near the long-awaited entertainment complex known as the Krikorian Premiere Theater. The project is expected to bring 14 cinemas — including one with a 6,000 square-foot screen — to the city. Construction has been underway at Menifee Town Center, along Newport Road, off Interstate 215.

On Wednesday night, Menifee City Council members are expected to get an update on the Krikorian project, according to a meeting agenda.
