New Sports Park Under Construction

The park at Spencer's Crossing is slated to open this fall.

Construction has begun on an 11.5-acre sports park in the Spencer's Crossing neighborhood of unincorporated Murrieta.

Highlights of the sports park, which is scheduled to open this fall, include two baseball fields, a soccer field, a basketball court, a children’s play area and a concession stand, according to a news release. All fields will be lighted.

Located just outside Murrieta city limits in what is known as the French Valley area, Spencer's Crossing is a master-planned community developed by Brookfield Residential (Los Angeles) LP, a member of Brookfield Residential Properties Inc. With its parks and trails, the community has been designed for those with an active lifestyle, the news release stated.
