Organic Expert Plants Roots in Murrieta
Grow Organic World has relocated its home base to the rural Los Alamos Hills area in an effort to share expertise with the Murrieta community.
A couple who run a local business promoting the benefits of homegrown food have relocated from Tenaja west of Murrieta to a new home base in town.
Grow Organic World, co-owned by Nadav Joshua and Carrin Greenfield, now occupies three acres on Liberty Road in the rural Los Alamos Hills area of Murrieta. They'd set their sights on purchasing the property several months ago, and said the move will make it easier to expand their business.
The company specializes in grow systems and Net Houses—rather than greenhouses—trademarked by Joshua, an Israel native who knows no other way but to grow his own food. (Read a past Patch feature about Grow Organic World here.)

An inexpensive option they are trying to get the word out about is their Plug and Play planter. The planter comes equipped with budding plants or flowers and a built-in irrigation system.
"We hope to see more yards with the Plug and Play system," Joshua said.

Grow Organic World offers once-a-week service to its clients, so with little to no effort they can pick and enjoy.
"We are the suppliers of the grow systems," Joshua explained. "Everything is automatic so our clients don't have to worry about it."
Joshua, who sits on the board of Temecula Valley Slow Food and has been instrumental in setting up school gardens in Temecula and at Oak Grove in Murrieta, also plans to transform former horse corrals on the new property into gardens for local schoolchildren.
"We feel like we are in the country," Joshua said, about the new property. "It is such a well-hidden secret."
