Patriotic Volunteers Needed to Participate in Music Video "Proud To Be An American"

Eagle Scout Service Project to honor veterans and benefit the Wounded Warrior Project on Veteran's Day at the Murrieta Field of Honor.

A local boy scout needs patriotic volunteers to participate in filming a music video for his Eagle Scout service project. On Veteran’s Day, Wednesday November 11th, 2015 at the Murrieta Town Square Park, Nathan Cox will film a patriotic music video, “Proud To Be An American.” The filming will begin around 1:00 pm, immediately following the dedication of the Fallen Warriors Monument. All patriotic citizens, military personal and their families, wounded warriors, veterans, family members of fallen warriors, boy scouts, and JROTC cadets from local high schools are invited to participate. Please wear your uniform or red, white, and blue.

Nathan created a new arrangement of Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA” and dedicated this arrangement to his uncle, an Air Force pilot. The purpose of the music video is to show support and raise awareness for Wounded Warriors, veterans, and their families, and to promote patriotism in the community. It will demonstrate that the community is coming together to show their appreciation for veterans. The film will be posted on YouTube with a link to a donation website for the Wounded Warrior Project. On Veteran’s Day, a booth will be set up near the Field of Honor to distribute information about and accept donations for the Wounded Warrior Project.
