PETER PAN "FLYING" INTO TEMECULA THIS FRIDAY!

Temecula Performing Arts Company Presents: PETER PAN the Musical at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater

Literally “Flying” , into the Old Town Temecula Community Theater this Friday is Resident Company, Temecula Performing Arts Company’s production of PETER PAN, the original British musical version.

Peter Pan is a character created by Scottish playwright J. M. Barrie. A mischievous boy who can fly and never grows up, Peter Pan spends his never-ending childhood having adventures on the small island of Neverland as the leader of his gang, the Lost Boys. Peter interacts with mermaids, Native Americans, fairies, pirates, and occasionally ordinary children from the world outside Neverland. Piers Chater Robinson wrote the book, music and lyrics for the musical (British) version. Robinson wrote thirteen catchy, up-tempo songs for the show such as “What happens When You’re Grown Up?”, “You Gotta Believe” and “Don’t Say Goodbye”. In the last 14 years, the musical has enjoyed many box-office record-breaking seasons in British and European theatres (including London’s West End). It has also been performed in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Dubai, Japan, Mexico, India, Sri Lanka and South Africa.

Temecula Performing Arts Company’s PETER PAN is being directed by Jillian Stones, a veteran director and NYA (National Youth Arts) “Best Director” winner. Other directing team members include Music and Vocal Director Charles Finn of San Diego and Choreographer Holly Davidson owner of HOLLYWOOD DANCE in Wildomar. Flight Sequences are staged and rigged by Sam Fisher of D2 Flying Effects. Set Design is Neil Kapple and Jeff Carlson, Lighting by William Strawn, Costumes by Enchanted Attic.
