The Murrieta Valley High School homecoming crowd celebrated as the Nighthawks proved the better team Friday night against the Elsinore High School Tigers. Final score: MV 42, Elsinore 22
Coach Vinney Fazio's Murrieta Valley team entered the game with a 3-1 record and ranked fifth in CIF (Inland Division) for the third week in a row. Coach Tony Peralta's Elsinore Tigers are no slouches themselves, currently ranked third in the East Valley Division.
