PHOTOS: Murrieta's Field of Honor 2015
Some incredible images from this year's moving tribute.
The Murrieta Rotary Club’s Field of Honor is now open for the seventh year, and the community is invited to visit the tribute through Nov. 14.
The field opened Saturday with the unveiling of more than 2,000 3-by-5-foot American flags bearing the names of active-duty and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces, allowing “... hundreds of folks from the region [to] recognize their personal heroes with a flag,” according to organizers.
Wednesday, on Veterans Day, the field was front and center for Murrieta, as the city’s annual parade ended its route at the location.
