Photos Released Of Alleged Pickpockets, Murrieta Police Seek Leads
A male and female caught on surveillance video are wanted for questioning in connection with the Murrieta police investigation.
MURRIETA, CA — Murrieta police are seeking the public's help in identifying a pair who allegedly worked to steal a shopper's wallet.
The police department posted the suspects' photos to social media on Thursday and wrote, "Ok all you #SocialMediaDetectives #YouKnowWhoYouAre we need your help again!"
The alleged crime happened last month at a Murrieta store, according to police. The victim was distracted by the female (shown in the photo above) when the wallet was swiped. The male (pictured) is also wanted in connection with the apparent tandem crime.

Shortly after the alleged theft, the victim’s credit card was used to make a large purchase at the Temecula Apple store. Two additional purchases were attempted at Apple and Sephora, according to police.
