Pileup Involving Big Rig Jams I-215 In Murrieta
Five cars were involved in a pileup that shut down two lanes of the southbound side of the freeway near Los Alamos Road Saturday.
MURRIETA, CA — Two lanes of the Interstate 215 were shut down Saturday by a five-car pileup that involved a big rig, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 10:50 a.m. on the southbound side of the freeway near Los Alamos Road, the CHP reported. It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured.
The southbound number one and two lanes were shut down while crews cleared the disabled vehicles from the roadway, according to Caltrans. Commuters were advised to avoid the area.
