Rancho Panthers Move on to the Championship Game

Four of the Rancho Panther youth football teams are moving on to the AAU Championship Game this Saturday

The Rancho Panthers have continued their late season charge taking 4 of their youth football teams into the Eastern Conference AAU Championships with a chance to play for Superbowl Rings on December 6th.
The 5 and 6 year old Rookie Division Panthers walked away with a convincing 26-7 Win over the California City Ravens, with Langston Ford running all day and cashing in for 4 touchdowns.
With Fundamental play and a dominate line of scrimmage, the Freshman Division Panthers, made up of 7 and 8 year olds, crushed the Lake Los Angeles Steelers 34-6.
In the game of the day and probably the year, the Sophomore Panthers Defense held the undefeated Palm Springs Indians scoreless in the 2nd half and scored on a touchdown pass from Cade Moran to Luke Bennett with 3 seconds left in an exciting come from behind Victory winning 14-12.
The Junior Varsity 11-12 year old Division came out firing on all cylinders and handled their business in a 42-20 Victory, led by hard running from Donovan Taylor and Dominic Cyr totaling 5 touchdowns between them. The defense made some crucial stops on 3rd and 4th downs, with one play before the half resulting in an 83 yard pick 6 by Sean McDermott his 2nd TD in two games.

All 4 teams will be participating in Conference Championships this Saturday at Vista Del Lago High School in Moreno Valley. Games begin at 8, 10, 12, and 2 pm.
