RivCo Silver Alert Cancelled After Missing Man Found

PERRIS, CA — A Silver Alert in effect Monday for a 58-year-old man who went missing in Perris was canceled after he was located, officials say.

Jerry Cruz was last seen about 3:20 p.m. Saturday at Callista Way and Giosetta Street, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
