RivCo Woman Flees Home, 'Majorly Damaged' In Weekend Fire

JURUPA VALLEY, CA — A home in Jurupa Valley sustained major damage when it caught fire Sunday morning.

Firefighters arrived at the home in the 10050 block of Clydesdale Avenue about 10:15 a.m. and found the fire ignited on the right side of the home. Flames scorched the front of the home as the house fire grew in size. The incident was contained to the one home, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokesperson Maggie Cline De La Rosa told Patch.

The Red Cross was requested for one adult female who was displaced from her home, she said.

Firefighters remained at the scene for about three hours, conducing mop up operations, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation. No people or animals were reported as injured during this incident, according to Cline De La Rosa.
