RTA Delivering Meals to Homebound Seniors

During this pandemic, Riverside Transit Agency is doing more than just driving customers to essential destinations. The Agency is also delivering meals and groceries to homebound seniors and people with disabilities throughout Riverside and San Bernardino counties.

As part of the campaign, RTA is working with Feeding America and Family Services Association to deliver food aboard our Dial-A-Ride vans to people who cannot leave their homes.

RTA employees are also assisting at the Moreno Valley Senior Center to prepare meals for pick-up and delivery. Since the program began on April 15, RTA has worked more than 480 hours, providing more than 12,500 meals and nearly 300 bags of groceries.
