RUHS Offers Free 'Stop The Bleed' Classes

Just like knowing how to perform CPR, knowing how to stop massive bleeding from traumatic injuries can save lives.

From Riverside University Health: WHAT: STOP THE BLEED Presented by Riverside University Health System Trauma Services in partnership with the American College of Surgeons, is a free 45-minute class that is regularly offered to train members of the public how to stop massive bleeding from traumatic injuries such as gunshot wounds and vehicle accidents. Just like knowing how to perform CPR, knowing how to stop massive bleeding from traumatic injuries can save lives! Be that bystander who knows what to do in an emergency.

WHEN: July 12 (Thursday) at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.

HOW: Call 951-486-4212 to register for a free class or to obtain information about upcoming schedules and training opportunities.
