The crash was reported just before 4:30 p.m. on the northbound side of the freeway, north of Los Alamos Road and the I-15 split.
At least one motorcyclist was involved, and the rider was reportedly down in lanes.
All lanes were blocked.
The extent of injuries and the cause of the crash were unclear.
The California Highway Patrol was on scene.
