Services Set for Salon Owner Killed in Seal Beach

Family and friends will gather this week in Santa Ana to remember Randy Fannin.

was one of eight killed Thursday in a mass shooting at the salon he owned in Seal Beach. He leaves behind a wife, children and grandchildren, an extended family and numerous friends and customers from the local salon business.

"Randy worked at Front Street Salon in Temecula for years," said friend Kathie Duff-Ide, in a Facebook post."...Met his wife Sandy there, I believe. Did my hair for years, and as a fellow hairdresser, taught me how to weave correctly. Beautiful man, beautiful person..."

A family member who emailed Patch asked that the service location be kept private.

The Murrieta Day Spa & Hair Studio, where Fannin's daughter works, with funeral costs, with plans to present the check the day of the service.
