Slight Increase Ends Four-Day Streak of Dropping Gas Prices Near Murrieta

Average price in Inland Empire is now $2.893.

Murrieta, CA — A four-day streak of decreases ended Monday when the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose one-tenth of a cent to $2.893.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties dropped 2.6 cents over the past four days, including six-tenths of a cent on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 2.1 cents less than one week ago and 79.5 cents lower than one year ago but 5.8 cents more than one month ago.
