Small Drop Noted in Area Gas Prices

Overall, however, prices in Riverside County area are still higher than one month ago.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire dropped three-tenths of a cent Friday to $2.814, one day after decreasing one-tenth of a cent.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is 2.7 cents higher than one week ago and 14.5 cents more than one month ago but 17.1 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price has dropped twice and was unchanged once after a 20- day streak of increases totaling 13.2 cents.
