Smoke Report Brings Firefighters To Murrieta School

MURRIETA, CA -- Firefighters responded Sunday to a report of smoke at a Murrieta elementary school. Officials said witnesses reported smelling smoke at Lisa J Mails Elementary School at 35185 Briggs Road.

Responding firefighters arrived at 11:31 a.m. but cleared the scene at 12:05 p.m. It was reported as a false alarm, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
