STEAM Preschool Approved For Murrieta
The infant-to-preschool Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math child development program will be operated by the RCOE.
MURRIETA, CA — A new preschool operated by the Riverside County Office of Education is slated to open in Murrieta. Last month, the Murrieta Planning Commission unanimously approved a conditional use permit for an existing building owned by the RCOE located at 24980 Las Brisas Road.
According to city documents, a preschool and administrative offices will be located within the existing two-story 11,365-square-foot building. There will also be an outdoor play area. The 1.22-acre site also houses a Head Start program that will continue to operate when the new STEAM preschool opens, according to RCOE spokesperson Craig Petinak.
RCOE administrative offices are already located on the building's upper floor, but the facility's first floor will be renovated into an infant-to-preschool Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math (STEAM) child development program, according to city documents.
