E-bike Riding Student Struck Near Southwest RivCo High School
A car collided with an e-bike near Liberty High School on Tuesday morning.

MENIFEE, CA — A student was struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning near the entrance to Liberty High School in the Menifee area, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Just before 9:45 a.m., 911 callers reported a student was hit by a vehicle near Liberty High School at El Centro Lane and Wickerd Road.
According to CHP dispatchers, an ambulance was called to the scene, and the e-bike-riding student was taken to the high school office, and was "up and able to walk," according to the CHP.

CHP Officer Brian Seel shared more details on the collision.
"The student on the e-bike was an 18-year-old student, and he suffered abrasions," Seel told Patch. "The driver of the vehicle was a minor student and was uninjured. Both parties went to school after the crash."
