Students at Discovery Isle Child Development Center(R) in Murrieta Donate Gifts to Local Children in Need

Students collected and donated toys to Toys for Tots during their holiday open house event

Murrieta, Calif. (DEC. 21, 2015) – Preschool students at Discovery Isle Child Development Center in Murrieta collected new toys to benefit Toys for Tots, a gift drive run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve, which distributes toys to children in need during the holidays. The gift drive concluded at the school’s Winter Wonderland open house event where students and parents enjoyed a surprise visit from Santa, holiday stories, cookie decorating and crafts.

The United States Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program’s mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute these toys as gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
