SWAT Teams Block Off Lakeland Village Neighborhood in Standoff
Covina police were serving a search warrant in town, with the assistance of other law enforcement agencies.
A man suspected of stealing several weapons from a Covina home is holed up inside a Lakeland Village residence Thursday, police tell Patch.
That agency’s SWAT team, along with the SWAT teams from Azusa police and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department were assisting Thursday afternoon, as an hours-long standoff continued since 6 a.m.
