Temecula Author Releases Book for Overwhelmed Moms

Award-winning title from WestBow Press weaves real-life stories of motherhood with biblical encouragements for Christian women.

Temecula resident Christine M. Chappell announced the release of her debut book Clean Home, Messy Heart: Promises of Renewal, Hope, and Change for Overwhelmed Moms to an audience of social media followers and supporters on Monday, May 16th. The book, which was awarded top ten honors in the 2015 WestBow Press New Look Contest, is now widely available through a variety of platforms such as Amazon, BarnesandNoble.com, ChristianBook.com, and other online retailers. In under 24 hours, the title had reached Amazon's "Hot New Release" list in the category of Christian Living.

Written for Christian women and mothers, the new release aims at giving overwhelmed moms reminders from Scripture that speak refreshment and hope into weary hearts. The book is highly readable and the perfect size for busy moms, with eight neatly organized chapters coming in at just under 100 pages. Chapters include questions and prompts for journal reflection, making the book ideal for personal or small group study.

Accompanying the book launch is the Clean Home, Messy Heart 40 Day Scripture Reflection Journal, which mirrors the themes and Scriptures used in the book exactly. The journal is designed to assist readers in digesting the material of the book as well as to fortify a routine of daily quiet time and bible study. It includes eight weeks of journal pages, with various prompts which facilitate Scripture meditation and personal growth.
