Thousands Attend Free Comic Book Day at Murrieta Shop

Comic book fans got a chance to get some free books, cards, games and T-shirts during Free Comic Book day held at Ryan's Comics in Murrieta.

Comic book fans got a chance to get some free books, cards, games, and T-shirts during Free Comic Book Day. The national event was held for the second time at Ryan's Comics in Murrieta. Some fans started lining up at 11 p.m. last night in order to save a spot in the front of the line. The event featured prizes, games, face-painting and tons of free loot. Shop owner Ryan Haggerty said he expected about 2,000 people.
