In Southwestern League Girls' basketball action, Vista Murrieta remained undefeated in league, posting a 43-29 victory over Murrieta Mesa. The Broncos are now 4-0 in the SWL and 16-5 overall. The Rams, who were led by Mikayla Greens' 12 points and four blocks, fell to 2-2 in league and 12-8 overall.
The Murrieta Valley Nighthawks picked up their first league win, defeating Chaparral 45-42. MVHS was led by Ariana Hernandez, who scored 20 points, while Alex Morrison added 18. The Nighthawks improved to 1-3 in league and 12-8 overall.
