The Vista Murrieta Broncos girls' team improved to 8-0 in the SWL with a 59-43 victory over Murrieta Valley. The Broncos were led by Jaelyn Brown, who scored 27 points, and Brittney Reed, who added 14. VMHS is now 20-5 on the year. The Nighthawks got 17 points from Alex Morrison and 15 from Ariana Hernandez. MVHS falls to 3-5 in league and 14-10 overall.
Murrieta Mesa defeated Temecula Valley, 42-37, as Octavia Williams scored 18 points and Kiersta Tanner added 9. The Rams improve to 3-5 in SWL play and 13-11 overall.
