Tonight's Powerball Jackpot Now $500 Million: How to Play, Find a Retailer

A massive Powerball jackpot, the largest payoff in nearly a year, is up for grabs tonight– and it’s now up to a whopping $500 million.

Wednesday’s drawing for the estimated half-billion dollar jackpot would be make for the biggest winner since a $564.1 million jackpot was won Feb. 11, 2015, according to the Powerball website.

The cash option payout for Wednesday’s drawing is estimated at $306 million.

The drawing will be held at 7:59 p.m. local time. You can buy tickets up until 7 p.m. at most locations.

Check for results at the California Lottery’s Powerball site to see if you’ve won.

The California Lottery is one of 45 lotteries nationwide that participate in the Powerball drawing. Tickets can be purchased at any lottery vendor of more than 22,000 California Lottery retail locations.
