In Tuesday night's SWL boys' basketball action, the Murrieta Valley Nighthawks defeated the Murrieta Mesa Rams, 63-49. MVHS was led by Jordan Williams, who scored 21 points and Tyler Bilton, who added 17. Mitchell Lenhart dished out 8 assists. The Rams were led by Bryan Phan's 21 points. Murrieta Valley is now 4-3 in league and 15-8 overall, while Murrieta Mesa is 2-5 in league and 11-12 overall.
The Vista Murrieta Broncos upset Great Oak, 58-51. VMHS improved to 2-5 in league and 11-11 overall.
