In girls' soccer action Tuesday, the Vista Murrieta Broncos outlasted the Great Oak Wolfpack, 5-4. For the Broncos, Brittany Caserma led the way with two goals, while Gabby Constante, Ashley Johnson, and Perry Guinn each added one. With the victory, VMHS moves into a second place tie with Temecula Valley, both 4-2-1 in league. The Broncos improved to 15-4-2 overall.
Murrieta Valley picked up its first league win of the year, defeating Murrieta Mesa, 1-0. The Nighthawks are now 1-5-1 in the SWL and 9-7-4 overall, while the Rams fell to 2-4-1 in league and 11-5-1 overall.
