Two Murrieta House Fires Break Out Within Minutes Of Each Other
The Murrieta fire department says they were able to keep damages to the minimum at both locations.
MURRIETA, CA- Murrieta fire officials were called out to not only one, but two, fires over the weekend.
The first was reported at 6:27 p.m. Saturday in the 26000 block of Holly Grove Court, according to Murrieta Fire Capt. Matt Corelli.
Officials received word of a fire at the home's garage and sent out four engines, one truck and a battalion chief, he said.
"Firefighters knocked down the fire and prevented it from entering the living area of the home," Corelli said in a news release.
Meanwhile, while working that incident, officials got word of another fire in town.
"While responding, a second emergency call for an oven fire caused one of the engines to divert to the other call," Corelli said. "Three engines, a truck, and a battalion chief arrived with fourteen personnel to contain the fire."
