Uber Eats Launches In Murrieta With 50+ Area Eateries

Hungry but don't have time to go pick up food from your favorite Temecula or Murrieta restaurant? Uber Eats is now here.

MURRIETA, CA — Temecula Valley residents with a craving for some restaurant or fast food food now have a new option when it comes to getting a bite to eat. Uber Eats officially launched Wednesday in the region, serving the Temecula, Murrieta and Menifee areas.

There are already more than 50 local eateries signed up to participate in the program, including McDonald's, Luna Grill, Los Primos Mexican Food, Corner Bakery Cafe and Q’s Tacos Mobile Food Truck.

  • Its Tabu Sushi Bar & Grill
  • Marie Callender's
  • S Thai Food Restaurant
  • Kabob House

  • Sposito's Cuban and Italian Cuisine

Representatives with the company tell Patch that the service costs $4.99 to use, plus any additional tip you'd like to give your driver.

"We’re thrilled to be launching Uber Eats in Temecula and the surrounding areas, bringing a convenient and reliable way for people to get the food they love; opening up new economic opportunities for delivery partners; and enabling restaurants and chefs to connect with more customers," said Uber Eats Southern California Senior Manager, Pat Winter.

Here’s how Uber Eats works:

  1. Download the free Uber Eats app for iOS or Android
  2. Login with your Uber account (or create a new one)
  3. Find a restaurant and pick what you want from their menu
  4. Pay with your card on file
  5. Booking fees are $4.99
  6. Watch as the order is picked up and delivered to you

The average time it takes to get your food from when an order is placed is about 35 minutes, officials said.
