Where To Watch The 2022 FIFA World Cup In Murrieta

MURRIETA, CA – Are you ready for some futbol? No, not that football — soccer! The 2022 FIFA World Cup begins Sunday in Qatar, and the U.S. men’s team is in the field. Get your flags and jerseys as "World Cup Fever" arrives at pubs and sports bars across Riverside County.
Perhaps you want to catch a game or two over a pint and a hot meal? There are plenty of places in Southwest Riverside County to watch, including:
- Shamrock Irish Pub and Eatery opens at 10 a.m. game days: 39252 Winchester Rd Ste 145, Murrieta
- Buffalo Wild Wings opens at 11 a.m.: 32401 Temecula Parkway, Temecula
- Stadium Pizza Temecula opens at 11 a.m.: 31950 Temecula Parkway and 27314 Jefferson Ave #1
- Stadium Pizza Lake Elsinore opens at 11 a.m.: 169 N Main St
Shamrock Irish Pub and Eatery is always a local favorite spot to watch soccer, and advanced reservations are recommended, according to owner Paul Little.

On game days, the Irish pub will open its doors at 10 a.m. Monday to show the USA vs WALES game (11 a.m. PST start). Head back at 10 a.m. on Black Friday, to watch England vs. USA. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made online: www.theshamrockirishpubandeatery.com/reservations
The 2022 Men's World Cup is the first rendition of the tournament ever to not be held in May, June, or July. The decision to play the tournament in November and December was to avoid the intense heat that comes with summer in Qatar.

It is also the first time the World Cup has been hosted in the Middle East. A total of 32 teams are heading to Qatar to compete. All the games will take place between 5 a.m. and 2 p.m. EST.
If you’d rather watch from home, all of the matches will be televised on either FOX or Fox Sports 1 (FS1) in English as well as in Spanish on Telemundo.
You can also stream games on Peacock, Fubo, SlingTV, and Vidgo.
