A traffic collision led to a lengthy road closure in Murrieta Wednesday morning.
MURRIETA, CA — A traffic collision on Winchester Road north of Murrieta Hot Springs Road in Murrieta has led to a lengthy road closure, officials say.
At approximately 9 a.m., a traffic collision occurred near Winchester Road and Robert Trent Jones Parkway, leading to the closure of that intersection, police said. No other information about that crash was immediately available. The closure remained in effect as of 11 a.m., according to police.
"Expect delays and use alternative routes through the area," Sgt. Matt Schmidt said. No other information was immediately available.
