Woman Dies In RivCo Drowning, 2 Toddlers Hospitalized: Police
The children, a 1-year-old and a 2-year-old, are currently in critical condition, according to police.

MURRIETTA, CA — A woman died and two children were hospitalized Friday after police responded to a Murrietta home for a possible drowning, authorities said.
According to a Murrietta Police Department news release, officers and paramedics were called to a home in the 23000 block of Spring Meadow Drive shortly after 11:30 a.m. When police arrived, they found two small children and a 65-year-old woman unresponsive in the backyard.
Police said the father of the children and a neighbor performed CPR on the children, ages 1 and 2, before they were taken to a nearby hospital where both are in critical condition.

The woman was pulled from the pool by officers, police said. Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.
