Your Chance to Meet the Candidates Friday Night
If you're unhappy with your representation, this is the time to stop complaining and get to know some of the candidates on the ballot.

Tonight, Friday, October 10th is the “forum” and “debate” for some of the local, state and federal candidates on the ballot in the November 4th election. If you’re unhappy with your representation, this is the time to stop complaining and exercise your right to vote. Use the opportunity to get to know what some of the candidates stand for. Elections have consequences!
The event, sponsored by the Lake Elsinore Citizen’s Committee, will be held from 6:30pm - 9:30pm at the Lake Elsinore Woman’s Club at 710 W. Graham Ave in Lake Elsinore. It will be professionally moderated and non-partisan questions will be selected in advance by the citizen’s committee board. No live questions will be taken from the audience during the event. Members of the public who wish to submit candidate questions in advance were asked to do so athttp://www.lecc.us/questions.

Ken Calvert (R- Incumbent) vs. Tim Sheridan (D)

Congressman Ken Calvert has indicated he will not attend. The format of the debate was therefore modified so that his challenger Tim Sheridan will still be able to share why he believes he is the best candidate.
