10th Anniversary Gala a Success

The 10th Anniversary Gala for the Symphony Napa Valley with Maestro Michael Guttman.

The 10th Anniversary Gala for the Symphony Napa Valley was a smashing success. The evening started with a glittering event where attendees turned out in their most elegant and fashionable clothes. Musical Director Michael Guttman selected some wonderful pieces for this glamorous night. The show opened with Mozart’s “Overture to the Marriage of Figaro, K. 492”. Maestro took full advantage of his talented vocalists, Marnie Breckenridge (soprano) and Christover Bengochea (tenor) by playing Juliet’s Waltz by Gounod and continued with Puccini’s “Nessun dorma” from Turandot. They then performed the duet “Brindisi” from La Traviata. Eric Himy, the impressive pianist from New York, played a brilliant version of “Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini for Piano and Orchestra, Op. 43” by Rachmaninoff.

After the amazing concert, gold ticket holder guests attended a Gala Dinner at Raymond Vineyards. The beautiful menus greeted the guests and everything was perfectly handled by the team at Raymond Vineyards. Gina Gallo and Jean-Charles Boisset were the perfect hosts for this fundraiser dinner.
