2 Homes Destroyed In Hidden Valley Lake Structure Fires: Cal Fire
One firefighter suffered a burn as crews worked to contain the fires to the two homes, according to Cal Fire's Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit.
HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, CA — Two homes were destroyed in structure fires early Monday morning in Hidden Valley Lake, according to Cal Fire's Sonoma-Lake-Napa Unit. Firefighters were dispatched at 12:23 a.m. Monday to fires at 18703 and 18717 North Shore Drive in Hidden Valley Lake, Cal Fire Spokesman Bruce Lang said.
When crews arrived, 60 percent of one home was already on fire while 80 percent of the other was in flames, Lang said.
"Fire crews immediately began structure protection for the surrounding homes," Lang said.

Crews were able to contain the fires to the two homes, both of which were destroyed, according to Lang.
Crews remained on scene until 3:30 a.m. Monday.

One firefighter suffered a minor burn, Lang said. The firefighter was treated, then released back to duty with no restrictions.
In addition to Cal Fire units, personnel from South Lake County Fire District, the Lake County Sheriff's Office, PG&E, Hidden Valley Community Services District and Hidden Valley Security also responded to the blaze.
Cost estimates for total damages to the two homes had not yet been determined Monday afternoon, Lang told Patch.
"The cause of these two fires remains under investigation," he said.
