2 Wounded In Shooting Outside Downtown Napa Bar

NAPA, CA — Napa police are looking for the person or persons responsible for a shooting early Friday outside a downtown Napa bar that left two people hospitalized with gunshot wounds. Officers were dispatched around 1 a.m. to the 900 block of Main Street, near Downtown Joe's Brewery and Restaurant.

Officers found one man suffering from a gunshot wound. The injured man was treated at the scene by emergency medical personnel with the Napa Fire Department and AMR ambulance, then taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, police Lt. Gary Pitkin said.

A second shooting victim then showed up at the same hospital, Pitkin said.

As of Friday morning, investigators were working on tracking down the shooter.

"While early in the investigation, it appears the shooting stemmed from an earlier argument between two groups at the nearby bar," Pitkin said. "No arrests have been made at this time."
