3 Dead, 6 Hurt In Multi-Vehicle Collision In Napa County
The crash happened when a Mitsubishi sedan, traveling south on two-lane Silverado Trail, sideswiped a BMW SUV going north, the CHP said.

NAPA COUNTY, CA — Three people were killed and six were injured in a three-vehicle crash on Silverado Trail north of Oak Knoll Avenue in Napa County on Saturday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
The crash occurred shortly before 12 p.m. when a Mitsubishi sedan, traveling south on two-lane Silverado Trail, sideswiped a BMW SUV going north, the CHP said.
The collision caused the Mitsubishi to continue southbound and crash into a Toyota sedan which was traveling north on Silverado Trail behind the BMW.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, William Dene Brumley, 68, of Vallejo, was taken to Adventist Health St. Helena where he was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of a drug, the CHP said.
He was later taken to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and is expected to survive.

The rear passenger in the Mitsubishi was declared dead at the scene. The front passenger was taken to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center and was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the Toyota and three passengers were taken to Kaiser Permanente Vacaville Medical Center with major injuries; one rear-seat passenger was later pronounced dead.
The driver and passenger of the BMW complained of pain injuries only, the CHP said.
The investigation is continuing.
